>She does not believe in Hell at all. She believes God is All love. Even the worst of us ultimately will be recycled by God into something good and loving. Hell is our own concept that we inflict upon ourselves. She believes Christianity that evolved after Christ's death went in completely wrong directions and did not accurately reflect Christ's teachings. I have always wondered why I love my pets more than the Christian God loves his human children. There is nothing my pets could do that would make me send them to Hell. So, Hell and a loving God have always been contradictory concepts to me. Sylvia Browne's afterlife is the kind of afterlife I would develop for my pets if I were God. Also, my own experiences with God have been of a loving nature. I am highly imperfect but I don't feel God getting angry over my human frailties.

The ancient Gnostics were basically seekers who incorporated aspects of all the major faiths of their time. Karma was included in their belief systems. They also believed Jesus was the son of God but no more than each of us. God is directly accessible to all of us and no intermediary is required.

Sylvia Browne believes in Life Scripts that we write before coming here. These scripts have lots of latitude and spiritually we can alter some of the more painful ones. Some experiences, horrible ones no less, will have to be endured no matter what because we agreed to do it. We agree to do it in order to spiritually progress. Our spiritual progression pleases God but is not mandatory. All pain and loss are part of this world only and this is not the best of all possible worlds. This world is like a killer military boot camp that we chose to attend in order to progress spiritually at an advanced pace. When we die and if we are burned out on this world we do not have to come back if we do not choose to. All of the beautiful aspects of this world are duplicated and magnified on the Other Side. Pain and despair are left in this world. God does not force spiritual progression on us. Her God loves AND respects His children.

God is made up of All our experiences. God is inside of us and our experiences become His experiences. His love grows with the more experience He receives from us living our lives. It is all part of a weird physics that I am not sure I entirely swallow. I don't doubt that there could be different levels of reality but I doubt any one human completely understands all of the details of such a universe with great scientific precision. However, that is the beauty of Gnosticism, ultimately you are led to the truth by God and do not have to rely on anyone outside yourself to find it.

Her God is pretty much the God I have known before I ever heard of Sylvia Browne. That is why she strikes such a powerful chord with me. I am still seeking and still skeptical, though. I do admire that she is one of the few that encourages that.

I know I am longwinded but these concepts are complex and I try to be as precise as I can. In theological disccussion,it is tough to do that with brevity.
