[ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 10:23:12 09/28/03 Sun Author Host/IP: 162.39.138.13 i was there last night.this IS what happened.curtis never said anything about danny cheating.he accepeted the loss and went on.he even went over and congratulated danny on the win.however,after the first round someone came over and said they were at tech when danny went across the scales and there was somebody there that put their hand on the car WHILE the car was on the scales being weighed.i have been going to the track for a long time and i did not know this guy.then after the final someone came over(a different person) and said they were there when danny weighed and he was light.curtis never said anything until then.when steve was questioned about it he said let the tech guys tell him something.when the tech guys were questioned about it NOTHING was said either.curtis did not just come out and accuse danny of cheating even when those people came over and told him what they saw.i do know after the semi final round curtis' car weighed at 3328. Danny and curstis both weighed right during the eliminations. The person in tech putting there hand on the car while danny was on the scales was more than likely moving the car to get it center on the scales . If your car weighs 20 pounds close to the minium weight and your not on the scales right they will read under. That is why they moved dannys car around.
