The Smith Brothers would like to point out that if you brought your family to see Prescott Outlaw races, bracket cars slowed the event down ,if you came to bracket race,Prescott Outlaws slowed the bracket program down.In reality there is more action going on during cool downs but family does not understand why a "street car" needs a cool down and bracket car loudness is annoying.Next time family stays home.
Everyone that has been going to Prescott for at least 20 years knows Steve Dedman personally saved that track from the history books. It really came to a head when Danny Wilson and "The Kid" Jackie Lewis lined up and when the green flashed there dead still sat Danny with a red light and two yellow staging lights.WOW! That was a tense moment from "the old days"! When Steve took over that never happened again. To The Smith Brothers it looked like everything went pretty smooth Saturday night and the track crew did a great job, even whipping out the cherry picker.
