You guys crack me up. I hate to be the one to break it to ya but last time I checked Turbo's and superchargers were still street legal. So that means that you could easily run up against someone like polk at a stop light. Then what are you gonna do? Cry about how he's got Turbos on his car and you don't? You want to play tit for tat then how about you knock the left half of your big block off and then bring it to the race. Seems fair to me, considering he's got less than half the displacement you've got. Now I'm not an import guy, I'm not a ricer, I'm not just a domestic guy, I'm a fast car guy. And I've learned, sometimes the hard way, that even the little 4 bangers can be fast. Now you want to talk about a "Real Street" car. You want to know what I consider a "real" street car. I consider it to be a car that you can drive to work every day for a year and never have more than the usual tune-up maintenence done. A car that has a comfortable interior that can hold at least two people, Working A/C and heat, and maybe even a good radio. That is a street car. What you boys call a "Real Street" car I call a trailer queen. How many times have you driven your "real street" car to work in the past month? It's like the old saying goes " Run what ya Brung " If you're afraid to play with a car just because it's got a turbo or another power adder, then it sounds like you need to find a new sport.
