Subject: This air is blessed, you share with me..

He had been otherwise engaged with something either family or business oriented - she never bothered to try to differentiate, one was as important as the other, and had taken to the stables. Her previously nonexistant horsemanship skills had been honed in the months that she'd spent here, and she looked practically expert astride the leggy young import the groom had put her on that morning. Rolly stood in the doorway of the stable, rubbing against the doorjamb, purring contentedly, away from the hooves of the beast.

He made his way outside after a little while, a smile crossing his face as he watched her astride the horse. He was proud of his stables, though he didn't spend much time in them. Casually, he leaned against the fence post, watching her. (NT) -- Luc, 19:09:57 01/17/04 Sat
She saw him coming out, but made as though she didn't, and set the horse through his paces, warming him up, reining the colt in easily. She didn't go to him directly though, but set off over a short course of low verticals, showing off just a little. (NT) -- Tris, 19:13:27 01/17/04 Sat

She smiled brightly, blossoming under his compliment. "I do try." The stable's groom had been giving her impromptu lessons here and there and the rest she had improvised. She leaned forward to drop her face near his. "You should saddle up.." (NT) -- Tris, 19:19:36 01/17/04 Sat

She took off for the house, Rolly in hot pursuit, up the knoll and into the back door, only to return within moments, a brightly colored scarf complimenting her otherwise basic colored ensemble - Rolly was still in the house. She rolled her eyes a little, and hung back for a second or two before she finally let Sid go like he wanted to - young as he was, he wanted to follow the rest of the herd, and she wanted to as well. She grinned a little bit at that. "yeah, but you have to promise not to tell anyone." Her personality had done a complete 180 since she'd moved in with him - she was a lot more easy going and a lot less wound up on shit. That was something she loved about him - that he treated everyone equally, everyone was a friend - that was just how it was. Her fingers twined in his as they made their way toward the house. (NT) -- Tris, 21:34:01 01/17/04 Sat
