Hope everyone had an enjoyable summer. With our dance/show right around the corner, we would like to remind everyone that we will be back selling tickets starting Monday, September 14th. Anyone that would like to purchase tickets, please put check/money in an envelope with dancers name on it and give to Irene, Donna or Eileen.
If for any reason you may not be at class next week and would like to get your tables give me a call at 516-749-3946. Also, any dancer participating in our annual show please make sure your name is on the show list, we do not want anyone excluded. The reason our show in the past has been a success is due to the help of our parents. We hope our 2009 dance is once again a success and would like to ask for your cooperation once again. We are looking for volunteers for the night of the show and for donations for our basket raffles. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me. See you all next week.

All the details:
Tickets will be distributed at the game.
Dancers will meet at 4:30 pm at the “Bull Pen Plaza” which is on the 126th St side entrance.
Performance time is approximately 6:40 pm. Game time is 7:10 pm
Dancers will be going inside the stadium at about 6 pm. They will be accompanied by Corinne Budde and Alice Pandaliano. Dancers will be wearing their Inishfree costumes. Please ensure all dancers have their tickets with them along with their wigs, crowns, dresses/pants, shirts, tie, Socks, Shoes. After the performance they will be changing, then will be escorted to their seats with their costumes.
Anyone unable to meet Alice at the Bull Pen Plaza prior to 6, go to the “Will Call Window” at the Jackie Robinson Rotunda . Envelopes will be there with your names on them. Please have a photo id.

If it is raining, I am not sure what will happen, so please follow the above unless the game is cancelled, which they would probably not do until the last minute.

As you know we are now starting the preparations for our Annual Dance & Show. We are asking once again for the support of all and hope that you will be a part of it in some way. If it was not for the help of our Inishfree families our Dance would not be the success it has been in the past years.
Our Dance and Show is one of our fund-raisers. However, it is much more, it’s a night were you get to have your family and friends come and watch your child perform in an enjoyable environment. It is also a night were we get to HONOR some wonderful people, our SENIOR DANCERS. These dancers, as we all know, have worked long and hard through the years and what better way to say congratulations for all your work and achievements by honoring them and wish them luck as they head off on there next adventure.
Starting Monday, July 20th you can purchase your tickets/tables for the Show/Dance. We are also asking if you can help with donations to be used for our baskets it would be greatly appreciated.
We look forward to Chairing the Annual Dance and Show and hope to make this a successful night for our dancers.

Congratulations to all those whocompeted in that dance-off (I believe we had quite a few).
Which brings me to the Senior opens dance-off... Which was quite an honor to compete in! =)Catie P, Laura J, Megan M, Meghan L, and Megan Walsh (I apologize if I mixed up any of the Megan/Meghan/Meaghan/Meggie's haha). If not for our representation, it was our laughter that made the entire competition that much more memorable. I was so proud to compete with each of you, as well as be there to watch as some of us dance our first dance-off ;)...
To conclude this extremely long post, I just want to say that from beginning to end yesterday was an absolute joy and certianly one to remember! And in the words of a wise Inishfree prophet, "I guess it's because we're the party school,right"? lol
