Subject: Matt Andrews- The Best of British

Matt let out a satsfied sigh as he left his home. SWA was done, he knew it. It was time to move on.

He had loaded the car the previous night. He had merticulously arranged his possessions in the boot, or as yanks called it, the trunk, as was his way, and was set to hit the road once more.

As he started the engine, he smiled once more. He knew he had done all he could in the SWA, having quickly becoming the Survivor champion. Prehaps too quickly, if that were possible. Matt had always enjoyed the buzz he got out of his own success, but to win the belt so quickly, easily, it felt as if he missed something.

He wanted to start at the bottom, work his way up. That way, there could be no question that what her would get, he would have earned.

As the BMWs radio played a sentimental song about memories and stuff, he tought back to his fond memories of his arrival and achievements in SWA. Would he find similar moments in GWA?

'Count on it' He told himself.

Deciding not to be caught in the past, Matt retuned the radio, though as soon as he came across a station playing Wheatus, he turned it of in discust.

That band must be my Kryptonite Matt reasoned. For some reason, just hearing 'A Little Respect' was enough to turn Matt, normally unusally calm for a person in his profession, into frenzy.

Or maybe their just crap.

So what was next. Matt really didnt know where he was going. He guessed he would trail the touring GWA, Make his pressence known.

That should'nt be hard, Matt knew he wasnt as big or pysically gifted as some, but he had caught people over 7 foot tall in unbreakable subbmission holds, and those who thought they could beat him with speed and agility found those attributes to be useless against a man who know a counter to every attack and hold, who had studied the art of wrestling for so long, who had a latent understanding of it. And few could resist a move that was as technically beutiful as it was powerful, the Masterclass. Matt had put way many opponents with his custom move, some worthy, some not.

He had to do it, to fight the odds. He had to win for his country as much as for himself.

'God knows' he muttered to himself 'With Hear'say and Posh and Becks, Englands got little to be proud of right now. Ill change that!'

Matt turned on the CD player, too 'his' song, the one he had taken as his enterance music in SWA. Blur's 'Song 2'. He grinned, this song was perfect for him, it had attitude, it was entertaining, and it was English.

He took a long look at the redening sky, promising not to get sentimental again. He uttered to himself his catchphrse, the three words he hoped would be immortalised in GWA records as the words of one of the great technical wrestlers of his era.

'Watch and Learn'

As he taped along to the beat he loved, the open road ahead of him, he could see in his minds eyes some of the events that would, in time, lead to Matt prehaps becoming Gladiator champion. His face on TV, magazines and in...

'Danmit!' He cried out suddenly 'I Forgot to cancel the papers!'

He laughed as he drove on. He'd just leave it behind.
