Look at spiderman's background, just about everyone he smacks down in the MU (Marvel Universe) is superpowered. C'mon, surely he could smack Batman six ways from Sunday, as for Superman, not so much. But so what? Superman's just a redicoulously overpowered boyscout who will only win because of that. Spidey defines courage, Batman's okay, and Superman just plain sucks (but is first movie was great, can't deny that.)
