The Joker earned his tital as Batman's Greatest foe by killing Robin, crippling Batgirl and also killing Commissioner Gordan's Wife and the list goes on...

The Green Goblin earned his tital as Spider-Man's Greatest Foe by killing Gwen Stacey, killing The Scarlet Spider, taking Peter's Daughter and again the list goes on...

Could someone please tell me what Lex Luthor has ever done to earn his tital as Superman's Greatest Foe?
