If this movie really gets made, it is a landmark because it's doing something for the general public that is generally reserved only for us comic book geeks: a crossover! It proves super-hero flicks are REALLY getting popular if they start building "universes" on the big screen, such as the DCU and Marvel Universe of print. Next thing you know, Spiderman will team up with Wolverine, who just got done fighting the Hulk, who just walked out of Avengers Mansion. It'll be cool if Hollywood can respect all the characters. My only bif is WB limiting themselves by triple-dipping in Superman and Batman instead of introducing Wonder Woman or a respectable Swamp Thing. Marvel is obviously pitching everything they've got to the masses!
