[T]horns, standing alert and pricked upon his regal cranium, heard the faint sound of claws unsheathing. Growling gently, the beast rather reluctantly turned his restricted sight from Psalm to Mirage.

[L]et it go. You might end up doing something stupid like this when you have your own kits.

[W]ith that, powerful muscles rippled to move the beast's large frame away from the puma's densite with the fluid grace of all cats. Mothers were irritating, in more than one way.
