More annoying than a mirage,

The smooth, seducing voice said, as if the owner had a honeyed tongue. Shadows quailed and gave way for the beast, and his form was revealed. Bundles of muscles rippled with each step he took, black bands upon dark orange running together, smearing into each other, becoming an almost solid black. Fear seeped from him, as blood from an unstaunched wound, staining the things about him in a cloak of choking death. Meet the Grim Reaper of all felines.

Ignoring the pestilence, he focused a dark, undaunted gaze upon the newcomers, holding his aura of a king among peasants. His stance was proud, as nothing had ever dared to take on the reaper, the reaper who promised Death, not wielding a scythe, but wielding muscle, and tooth, and claw that was even more deadly than any weapon. Even the great manes of lions could not forever keep away the jaws of a bloodthirsty beast such as he.
