Subject: Ok - now that I'm home for the summer, would someone give me a Reader's Digest version of Tad in the hospital and Julia's death.... and the Richie stealing JR's bone marrow, too. THANKS!

Julia was shot at Angie's wedding by Tad's Uncle Robert. She was alive in the hospital for a little bit. They offered to do surgery, but Joe spoke with her and Julia knew that the surgery wouldn't help. I *think* she didn't say goodbye to Kathy because she didn't want Kathy to remember her as dying. Is that right?

Tad was also shot and had surgery. I think Jake was the main man (the rules about operating on family members when you aren't a doctor at that hospital anyway just don't apply to Martins!) responsible in surgery for saving Tad's life.

Poor Kathy was stuck hanging around the hospital with all of these strangers while no one told her Aunt Julia had died. She was back and forth with Colby and Adam and Opal, et al.

Then finally after days and days and days of seeing KWAK's boobs hanging out of the dress she wore to the wedding, (like no one would ever bring her a change of clothes if Tad was in there that long and she didn't want to leave the hospital, puh-lease)...Kathy was brought in to see Tad in his hospital bed and he very nicely told her that he was her dad. He reminded her of the connection they first felt (I kept wondering if she understood that) when she had wanted to call him Daddy and now he was her Daddy. We haven't seen Tad get released from the hospital yet.

More importantly, I'm waiting to see what outfit KWAK will finally change into after wearing that same dress for days and days and days. LOL

You know that Richie needed bone marrow. Out of all the people in the whole entire world...JR was his only match and his only hope.

Unbeknownst to Richie, JR decided he was willing to go through with it and donate to Richie.

Evil Richie decided to take matters into his own hands.

He hired a loser doctor (using what funds, I have NO idea) and they set up an operating room and kidnapped JR and stole his bone marrow.

JR was next set up in a sleezy hotel room with the sleezy Trina. Babe or KWAK was then called and told where to find JR. They found him still half drugged and half naked in bed with Trina the hooker. Of course, Babe jumped to the conclusion that JR had gone off the wagon and was with the hooker.

JR didn't remember any of it, but kept protesting he hadn't done that.

JR got ill from the dirty needles used in the transfusion.

He went to the doctor several times. No one figured out the bone marrow thing.

Babe and Lil' Adam also had to be tested.

Babe was getting more and more ticked at JR for falling off the wagon and sleeping with a hooker and possibly giving them hepatitis.

Finally, JR kidnapped Richie a couple of days ago to make him confess that he had set him up with a hooker.

Richie confessed that he had stolen his bone marrow.

Now Richie's in the hospital, they are running DNA tests to prove the bone marrow story and Zach has run into Richie in the hallway. Richie said something to Zach and Zach remembered him saying those same words after he had been hit by Richie's car. Zach now knows that Richie was the one that ran into him with a car and then put him into that shelter with Greenlee where they survived for months and became BFFs.

So...evil laugh again...stay tuned to see what Zach will do to Richie.

I didn't know the connection with Zach hearing Richie say "excuse me man" or whatever in the hall.

I saw it the other day when Tad said he'd tell Kathy, but apparently missed it yesterday. Oh well.

How odd that HOOlio would refuse surgery. I mean, why would it be an option if there's a 100% chance it wouldn't work?

Only in PV. KWAK's boobs were still hanging out when I saw it yesterday. lol

something like you said, or like sorry man or similar. It was the same exact words that he used when Zach was semi-conscious after Richie hit him with the car.

Then Richie said something else after Zach was in that shelter but I don't remember the exact words and Zach heard him.

Did you see the scene where Zach was in Richie's hospital room and made him say certain words so he could be sure that it was a voice match. Very scientific methods. LOL

I don't remember why they could not operate on Julia. I mean I don't remember what part of her body was beyond "repair". Maybe someone else remembers?

I was reading how so many Julia fans were royally ticked off that they brought Sydney Penny back only to have her leave AMC again and be killed off. I didn't like her treatment either. I like Julia.
