Both my brother Iceflash and I were born in a place called the Hall of Warriors. The Hall holds stories and legends through history, Badger Lords of Salamandastron, Warriors of Redwall and stories from before then, wild days when heroes were few and far between.
My brother was always braver than me, he went of adventuring when he was still young, wandering all over the world. I stayed at home for longer, learning the legends that made the Hall.
My Father was killed in an accident, when part of one of the walls caved in and buried him. It hit me hard and my life was never the same afterwards. I had been becoming discontent with my home, feeling out of place, missing my brother and after my Father's death I felt even more so.
Eventually, I decided that life in the hall was not for me, so I journeyed to find my brother. I didn't find him, but I did find Redwall and I've been happy here ever since, telling the few stories I did learn and feeling more at home than I ever did, even before Iceflash left.
