Hi, my name is Fiona MacScoffer Tartantail. I am part of the latest generation of two lines of hares, the MacScoffers and the Tartantails. The MacScoffers, my mother’s family, have served the Badger Lords since back before anyone can remember. They are well known for wanderlust, and have picked up extensive knowledge of creatures from around the known world. They are experts in languages and cultures, and often serve as diplomats for Salamandastron. My father’s family, the Tartantails, were originally March Hares of the North, but joined the Long Patrol in its earliest years, and became hereditary bagpipers to the Badger Lords, and Pipe Majors of the Pipes and Drums of the Long Patrol. My mother, Maeve MacScoffer Tartantail, is currently on assignment as ambassador to the GUOSIM. My father, Sean MacScoffer Tartantail, is helping train a new pipe band in the northlands, the Bucko Bigbones Memorial Juvenile Pipe Band. I was sent to Redwall Abbey with my Aunt Mairi MacScoffer and Uncle Padraig Tartantail for an education. Aunt Mairi is helping the abbey recorders restore some old parchments. Uncle Padraig is here to learn some new instruments. I am to learn the ways of the Redwall Creatures and focus on my piping, since one day I will take my father’s place as piper to the Badger Lord. I am usually a good student and fairly obedient, but I confess a weakness for chocolate, and a particular hatred for bedtime. Uncle Padraig says if you glued feathers on me, I’d be a night owl!
Anyhow, thats me!
