Hi, my name's Saylbur! Ya wants ta hear 'bout me life, c'rrect? Well, here we go...
I was born on a riverbank deep in Mossflow'r Wood. My mummy couldn't think of a name for meself. She was waitin' for the Guosim to take me up to Redwall so's that I could have a sui'able 'ome. They had gotten a new boat, big with a really big sail! When we was on da boat, my mummy couldn't find me. "Help, help, my sweet little otter babe is gone!" She was cryin'. I was laughin' so loud they found me, clingin' to the sail like a bur. So my mummy, she said, "Hey, lookit that, I should name 'er Saylbur!" And so indeedy she did, and when we got to Red'all, I ate so much Shrimp and 'otroot Soup, I couldn't leave me chair! I love me new home!
