Well, I'm back...now where were we? Ah, yes...
"Aye, get the roastin' spit ready!"
The foxes around Zampa blanched in horror. "Y' just cain't do that! 'Tis wrong, eatin' a helpless liddle babe!" a burly young fox growled, standing up and moving towards Zampa. The elderly fox sniffed, obviously hurt by her tribe's reaction.
"Well, Gurit, son, you may be the leader o' this tribe, bu' I don' see ya bringin' us food f'r our starvin' stummicks!" Zampa uttered, narrowing her eyes at her offspring. Gurit raised an eyebrow, and shook his head.
"Will ya never learn, mother?" he sighed, shaking his head. "Now, you go an' bring that chile t' Redwall! No fussin' now, Mumsy! Like y' said, I'm th' leader!" Gurit added, seeing his mother's face go into a pout.
"Fine! Hmmph...chil'ren bossin' 'round their par'nts, wot's this world comin' to, eh?" Zampa mumbled, stomping off towards the direction of Redwall Abbey, taking out her anger on an innocent flower in her path.
She trudged on, until the pinkish walls of a giant structure greeted her.
"YOOOHOOO!" she called up, her voice cracking.
The head of a young squirrel popped up over the ramparts, and her eyes took in every detail. The squirrelmaid then disappeared, and a few minutes later she came back, Abbot in tow.
"Y'see, Father Abbot, this is what I wanted t' show you!" she cried, and the Abbot patted her on the head.
"Yes, Louiselle, good job!" The old mouse adjusted his specs, and realized who that small bundle was. "Great Seasons! Periwinkle and Rhubarb's child! OPEN THE GATES!"
And that was how Thistle Willowsong Longfaith came to Redwall. Yes, very cliche-ey, but I was in fourth grade when I made this up, gimme a break! There's more, about how Thistle was forever trying to get to what her parent's left at the abbey, in case anything happened to them...one sister made the mistake of telling her, and now she wants the sword her daddy left her, as well as the locket and headband. She finally got them one day, as a result of a bet made with Sister Louiselle...who knew the little mousemaid would eat a whole barrel of strawberries? Well, that's Thistle for ya...weirdest mousemaid on the planet..when did I switch to third person, anyway? G2G, bye!
