Good to hear you know what you want to be.

Myself I do not. I've studied sociology and psychology for a year. I found they very interesting, but the jobs for those subjects might not be that I wanted them to be.

I went to the military, 2 months training to be a soldier. Then 4 months training in leading, tactics etc. to be a sargeant. Finally 6 months of practical training. Do I want to be hired soldier? Maybe after the Hell freezes. I didn't like the environment and my interests are elsewhere than teaching people to play war.

Now I am moving 500km south, new city, new university, new major, new people. How I will succeed? dunno. Maybe the next upcoming year will be a blast like the last time in university. I love the athmosphere and people in the university. Very intelligent and nice. But after all I also learned a lot, maybe the most outside the classes, in the cafe or at friend's apartment. Having conversations about lessons or non-IQ related things, playing squash, etc., the list goes on. Math will be my major. Will it be as an enjoy it was in high-school? Or, will I change back to sociology I loved so much?

I've thought to have some months off-school if I get a decent job. For earning some money, but for the same reason as Dio, to earn some new views to my life and learn something you can't learn from the book. Though, books can teach you something you won't see in the streets, on the river or next to the apple tree. Then having another view at the streets giving you different picture. That's something I've learned from sociology, and seen it to become true.
I think the next few years will tell what I should become "as I were grown". Interesting years to come, indeed.

Life's a mystery. What's your story?

Take care, fellas

ps. I think you Dio should read a book about sociology. After all it's the largest subject there is after philosophy.. I recommend Zygmunt Bauman's "Thinking Sociologically", though the book is more scientifitic than a roman..
