I plan on entering the Flugtag next summer. Would make for a great gathering! All I need now is a sponsor to cover the 500 dollar cost of building materials and the tee shirts.
This past summer..there was a guy in Cleveland, Ohio who built one for $14,000 ! Most ever in history. Funny thing is...he didn't even get the world record. Some guy in France has that..I think 175 feet? Don't quote me.

Anywhoop...thought I would fill ye in on my boring life. It is basically a party with idiots flying amateur aircraft!
