Thanks for your advice Ormuz.
As far as a merlot, the only one I liked was a white merlot.
I have nothing against a red or a blush...just some of them taste like a strawberry crushed on a piece of oak bark.
I will try some Brazilian wines if we have any up here. As ar as Ohio wines, we are pretty close to southern Europe as far as latitude ...and we are quickly becoming popular.
