Great games all had lots of fun, sorry I had to rush off so abruptly but hope you guys enjoyed some classic tfl after i left :) So my usual post match analysis:

Game 1/2: Caer Dark FR

Well game 1 didnt go so well because we forgot to leave flag defence :) I'm not too sure what happened since I was busy giving chase to a flank when it said game over. Game 2 we did a lot better, losing by only 2 flags. I went after their base flag and messed it up completely or we woulda only be down by 1 flag :d

Game 3: DoW Captures

Well I sense some deja vu when I say I told everyone to go mid with a classic TC strat, 6 duffs, all melee, no arches :D Unfortunately again we had no D so we er got balled (6,8-balled?), my bad :d

Game 4: Mij Terries

The game we won :) This is the point at which sherm popped on, maybe he was the saving grace for TC but then I havent watched the films so I can't comment :p Um Not too sure what happened but the strat was since we're rusty I felt the only way we could win was to er rush a flank :) So I kept a small 'delaying' force and tried to 'delay' the N flank. I ended up having to retreat S but it happens I guess. Apart from that I don't know exactly what happened on cell and sherms side. What I remember of the match was that Dio almost ran his myrks into my lock ball (I wont let u live it down :), orm lagging out just at sudden death :( and us somehow managing to win 4-2.. which was nice :)

Game 5: Lichen ctf

Well I cant comment much on this game except to say we were out arched :) I had traded for 12-13 i think and they must have had about 16-18. Dio, orm and I went N. Cell was S and sherm was in charge of puss. It happened rather quickly so what I remember was magic bombing a group or 3 archers and watching them retreat a little bit. I thought it was safe so I advanced but then I looked at the overhead and saw that S was dead and there was a lot of red on the map. At this point I retreated and walked my guys down a river with a hill where the nme S had placed 5 arch killing my 3 archers for target practise :d Dio attempted to gain their flag with 1 ghol but their flag D was too much for the lonesome ghol to handle and I think died? So at flag, in a last desperate bid to deter the enemy the mighty duo alric and his duff chuck a bottle at a group of nme soldiers and hits em right on the bullseye, much to Wp's dismay {enter obscene lang}. The duff then attempts to launch another bottle with the aid of alric but unfortunately sherms thrall get in the way and before I could space bar lil duffy he blows em all up oh well :) They take our flag and win the game and match

So all in all good games, had a really good time, OD was on the WP team so I knew theyd be good fun to play against and you know what... they were :) So no match next week and hopefully I'll see y'all the week after for DE2 :)
