Subject: Coool movies

I decided to start a cool movies thread for no reason at all.

I really liked Shrek 2. When Puss in Boots started having a hairball...man, that was funny. The COPS thing was also great, as was Mongo (totally unexpected and hilarious!). I had a lot of fun at that movie...

Saved was funny too. It has that girl from Donnie Darko in it, which is also a really good, weird movie.

I saw Dodgeball...and thought it was so-so. There wasn't much there, but at least it never really slowed down, you know? If it would have slowed down I would have become really bored.

Um. I'm watching Jurassic Park right now, for like the 5th time this week. I'm really bored as all my friends, and my girlfriend, are gone this weekend, so I'm sitting around, just zoning out. Jurassic Park is kindof a stupid movie. It has these pretentions that it's more important than it is. It's just an action movie that takes too long to get to the killin'.

That new michael moore movie looks stupid. God I hate him...And appartentely, from the reviews I've read, it's exactly how I thought it would be: a movie for people who already agree with him, and not much else. Add to the fact that I hate politics and am mad that I even have to be conscious during this election season, and I have a reason to not like this political movie. I actually got into a fight with a friend over this movie, because I said Michael Moore was stupid, and that this movie won't tell you anything new, but will only confirm your political beliefs. It's kindof like a pep rally. But I guess I haven't seen this movie, so whatever. Moore just seems angry, fat, and uncharismatic. I guess that's the point.

Harry Potter 3 kicked ass. The first two were really childish and cartoony, and this one was like a break-out from all that (and to me personally that was a good thing). It was darker, crisper, and made more sense I thought.

Well, anyone else seen any movies or have a comment on one that I commented on? I'm bored, like I said.
