It is kind of dumb to do that, but they wanted to have the best graphics out there and that requires the player to have the best computer out there. Means it leaves a lot of us out to dry until we cough up the $2500+ to get a top of the line gaming machine.

Seems to me that Myth 3 did the same thing. My friend's computer is something like just over a year old and it still runs kind of junky on that, and I remember laughing at the recommended system thinking there weren't any such computers yet.
