Educate villagers: Polye
RURAL people must be educated and prepared to accept change as the country is going through a transitional phase. The national Government’s medium term development focus was to boost rural people’s infrastructure, Transport and Civil Aviation Minister and Kandep MP Don Polye said in Finschhafen last weekend. He said there was a lack of roads and bridges to link many rural communities living inland while economic activities and educational and health services were major concerns.
