Mr Ipatas said people have lost trust in their leaders and are now depending on the judiciary and the Ombudsman Commission. “People are losing confidence in this Parliament. We should not derail or undermine the role of the Ombudsman Commission,” he said. “Let’s protect the institutions that are keeping this country together.” Mr Ipatas said people on the streets are saying everything is falling apart and leaders are pretending that everything is okay. I would agree if he actually voted against such a move. Otherwise this is just another lip service. On that note, the progress is parliament is disturbing, how could these MPs introduce legislation to abolish constitutional offices (eg, OC)....I can't believe what I am reading.
