On behalf of the many rugby fans, I wish to congratulate one of Enga's sons, Kelly Aiyok, for promoting and elevating the game of rugby into yet another level... To me it is a first by an individual Engan, so well done...

Pressure’s on City Rangers
If their performance against Civpac NCD Vipers last Sunday was an indication, the Rangers will be in serious trouble against the visiting Rabaul team.
Franchise owner Kelly Aiyok admitted that his boys did not play to expectations against the Vipers.
Aiyok said he hoped coach James Naipao did some work on their levels of fitness and stamina for this weekend. The Rangers lacked the finishing touches against the Vipers and they have to improve on this against Guria this Sunday.
Aiyok said his boys have a lot of respect for Guria team.
Indeed, Guria is a close-knit team that had been through several seasons together – a couple of them successful, and history favours them in Sunday’s match.
Aiyok said the Rangers will not take them lightly. “We are looking forward to meeting them on Sunday,” he said.
There is no injury worry in the camp.
The franchise owner said they have rushed in Roy Lome and Suckling Danage into the side after Nixon Kolo was suspended for four weeks by PNGRFL over a speak tackle offence.
He said it was Rangers’ experience and good defence that enabled Rangers to gather the two competition points last week.
Guria coach Michael Marum said he had made two changes in his team to take on the City Rangers.
George Baker was added to the bench to add a bit of weight in the pack while Ronald Frank takes over the hooking position.
He said the rest of the boys retain their positions for Sunday’s clash.
Guria coach said it would be a tough match against Port Moresby-based team because they have experience with six Kumuls in the team.
“We did not play well against Bingtangor Lahanis but managed to scrape through and collect to points. We will have to play well against Rangers if we want to win,” the coach said.
Marum said two ex-Port Moresby Rangers players Larsen Marabe and Geno Kima will be up against their old teammates this weekend and it would be interesting to watch them in action.
He said Marabe was outstanding last week scoring two tries and winning the man of the match award in his first match in Guria colours.
“He will certainly lead the boys in the backline against Gimapau Keimelo and Eki Ene.”
Masta Mak City Rangers: Charles Onguglo, Kevin Frank, Gimapau Keimelo, Eki Ene, Michael Mark, Jessie Joe, Benjamin John, Luke Kolalio, Dairi Iageti, Nixon Kolo, Dickson Wallen, Simon Tonge, Johnson Kuike.
