Guys...Enga is making headlines now in the daily papers! Some highlights of the headlines made so far:
1. Don Polye retaining his Kandep Open seat with an overwhelming margin of 21,000+ votes of the 29000+ total voters. Polye is a good leader, however I have doubts on how he secured the 21,000+ votes where blood runs thicker than good policies in Enga unless our people have changed recently to our mindset.

2. Ipatas bowing down to NA to form the government thinking that he will be given a Ministrial portfolio to increase his bigname and fame further. I don't think this psyche being played by Ipatas on Somare bear any fruit because the 4 NA MPs of Enga won't tolerate it. If Ipatas want a ministrial portfolio, he should bow down and beg the 4 MPs especially clean Polye's shoes.

3. The conduct of the so-called Mioks players. The two shameful acts by these 11 idiot individuals/players is a big shame to the people of Enga. Our pride and our unique brand 'MIOK' has been tarnished. These idiots' actions will be written in the history books of PNGRFL, which will hurt us for a long time. We will never correct this! I won't be suprised if the PNGRFL suspend the Mioks Club for an indefinte period of time.

4. The downfall of Amapyaka Lutheran International School. This tribal fight should have been stopped 5 years ago when Ipatas retained the governorship for the second time. Ipatas is the cause of this tribal fight where many lives have been lost and properties entirely destroyed. Now Ipatas is barking at the wrong tree calling on the Police Force to make arrest and even calling on his cohort Pato Potane to handle this while he enjoy his third election victory with some 16's in POM. I don't know what the responsibility of a leader is. Late Anderson Aipit is a classic leader who can walk right to the 'teeth of a battle' and can stop it...this is the type of leadership we need in Enga and PNG if we want Enga and PNG to progress towards development. I personally will fully support an individual or a group of people who can lay down their lives for the sake of the people.

Anyways, you all have a day and take care!

Cheers
Naro
