Brothers from Simbu, Minj and PNG,

Don't worry about this idiot minorities who are criticising Peter Ipatas. They haven't done anything themselves for Enga province. They are little insignificant cowards who sit on there bums and open their mouths like old women. They will never contribute anything to Enga in their pathetic little lives. Not even their candidates has ever done anything to Enga like what Peter Ipatas has done over the last 10 or 11 years. Peter has significantly helped Enga in terms of Human Reasources Development and that alone defeats any other policies of past Engan politicians. That is not to undermine other areas his administration has also pursued during his term.

Of course he is guilty of things that we all know but atleast he should be accorded due respect for what his administration has done to date. Credit should be given where credit is due!

I personally believed Peter Ipatas should not be returned to power again after the GE but in the same note I am ready to applause his administration for what they have done so far. If anything, the new government should build on from where he left of today.

So easy liklik long criticisim em tumas na make the right choice this election. If Enga makes a wrong choice it will go back to the time of the HOPELESSNESS like Tindiwi, Jeffrey Balakau and Paul Torato era to name a few. A time where Enga has never seen a slightest development until Peter Ipatas took over.

I can see some valid points made by engans and ousiders (highlanders). For those who think the Governor should or should not get back in the GE,view these points I'm making and they are my personal observations and collective views from friends.
1/ How do you find a good leader and what constitutes a good leader? without knowing the person personally, what are some of the portraits and attributes that a leader must exhibit?
2/ Should there be some testing system for leaders, without having to flash their gold and silver, purely some form of a pre-selection where they must meet certain stringent criteria to qualify them thru the pre-selection?
3/ When new names enter Politics, how would anyone know that, this person is a quality leader or pre-requisites of the ideal leader that we want to see?

The following is my ideals for a leader in order of importance in todays world;
1/ Minimum of Degree qualification.
2/ Wealth of experience with the public or private sector with a minimum of 10 years.
3/ Has some involvement in community services whether it be commercially or in volunteer capacity in the name of good will.
4/ No criminal or civil case tried against him.
5/ Must be a very strong family man without scandals.
6/ Must display some from of wisdom and lateral thinking.
7/ Adequately exposed to the issues of the region and how other foreigns policies of the developed affect us.
8/ Must vow to declare their personal wealth and any business turnovers declared to the Ombudsman Commission for purposes of monitering public funds diversion and kick-back activities.
9/Must have very good interpersonal and people skills to be able to understand differing personality and character.
10/ Must have good money managent skills.
11/ Very honest, upright and aggresively passionate about his beliefs and ideas and be able to plan and implement these ideas.
12/ Must vow to say NO to bribery.

I hope you guys get the picture.... you could also add to the list if you like.

Cheers!

Mad Max....

Fantastic that Peter Ipatas invests in the development of human resources now and in the future. He is a smart person to have purchased property around POM, rental to be used now and in the future for students fees.

But, what about the rest of the community?, what is he doing for mums, dads, kids, and young adults that have not had the opportunity to go to primary school or high school. How is Peter Ipatas making life better for this section of the community?

What is he doing for the young adults that roam endlessly around the towns, villages daily with nothing to do and with little opportunity to improve themselves and no source of income?

The Provincial building is a impressive looking building, but is there a equally impressive hospital? is the hospital well equipped with medicine, x-ray machines, beds and human resources? Are there plenty of health clinics around the Province?

Maybe someone can answer

Ipatas is simply the best enga can ever produce to this nation.
We must know that developmnet is a very recent event in enga. Develpment was first brought to enga by missionaries in the 60s and it become a full-swing event when ipatas is in power.
more importanly the human resource development which is vital for any country to grow is ipatas's no. 1 priority.
i'm a kanaka and i'm where i'm coz of ipatas put up the free education policy.
Plis bai yupela changim sampla taim...larim em peim skul fee pasim na development future elites of this country.
