Fellow Engans,
Lets be frank with this subject, definitely Ipatas can not be a Prime Minister, the responsible is huge. You are talking about PNG's pinning social issues, sustainable development, etc, and PNG in the Global Economic Village. Those time of Village Chiefs (VC)dreaming of becoming a PM is long gone, even for VCs being a MP should be an activity of the past. But Ipatas has good personality, confidence, but he does not have the credentials. He has been a good Governor, and that best suits him at this time. But there is yet more room for improvement and development in Enga. He should humble himself and take on board best advisors (fellow engans) to develop Enga for the better.

Polye is a talented young leader, but 'Spy',your posting is an observation people may take. I also have couple of observation of him. Firstly, I would prefer to know how often does he goes to Kandep. Secondly, he lacks deep thoughts, driven by emotions, excited and being unrealistic. Think deep before coming public, Polye cannot castrate rapist, etc. Hopefully experience may come with time.

But for a good prosperous PNG, Bart Philemon seems the bright one, but I personally dislike his idea of recycling leaders, especially to bring on board leaders who were seen to be mismanaging in the past.

But Engans need to talk about Enga. Why we can not put our heads together and aim for a better Enga. Are we going to wait until you become the next action Governor. We need to Think and Learn as if we will live for 100 years and, Live as we will die tomorrow. Someone once said, 'Tragedy of Life is not that we Die but What Dies in us While we Live'. Tomorrow may never come for our honest contribution, lets work together for the better Enga now.

I disgaree that systems shape and fail leaders. I wouldn't be a mere machine driven by sordid pursuits. We compromise our principals for short term gains. In life, visionaries bring the good issues of life into their store house that will mold he/she a person he/she longs for. Joe Blow does not see the issues of life the same as you see. There are sons and daughters of Enga out there, call them home to build Enga for the better.

What is this so called Engan culture, I hate to hear Engans saying this. Enga is sensitive but the most only coloured culture and language in the country. I have travelled PNG, and Engans are still the sensible people and Enga will truely flourish one day. It requires the activities of a TRUE HONEST Hearted Engan leader that will touch the hearts of fellow Engans and change will start.

enga Kambi lege you sit there on you fat ass and discriminate our leaders. have you been a PM before??? i dont think so, have you bulit bridges, roads, or brought any other services to enga province?? i dont thing so. you talk as if you can run a province well i tell you this ,you go back to enga and try running for the governor seat and if you win youll know what its like to be governor, you will feel alot of pressure only the strong and bold will face the oncoming problems of a province. so what will it be?? . if you cant than dont talk about our leaders, if you thing there should be a change then you should DO something about it dont sit and TALK ALOT . THAT GOES TO THE WHOLE LOT OF YOU WHO DISCRIMINATE OUR LEADRERS

Thanks, ENGAWAN,

Hehehehehe.....hehe. I don't discriminate leaders, but I'm open minded in assessing leaders. We need civil engineers to design and built the roads, likewise we need leaders in heart to lead the people of Enga and PNG. Sometimes, we know the truth in our hearts, but we decieve ourselves because a claim leader would be close to us or has brided us.

Read my points again, I'm saying Peter Ipatas is good to be a govenor still at this time, still more to be done. Don Polye need to give some time for his people in Kandep and need to think deep, wisely. Bart Philemon is a prime minster material but need to open door for other experienced leaders like A.Amet, etc, teaming up with Mekere and possibly with Rabbie Namaliu could be the way forward. But should not recycle leaders of the past like John Nilkare. PNG has enough experienced, educated, God centred leaders today.

My point is if we continue this type of leadership in Enga or PNG, we will continue to live in the past, tomorrow. You and I need to wake up and stand for the truth where we can.

If someone is close to any of leaders being discussed in this forum, then tell them to improve on this observations. This is what people see and we can not help by defending them.

I don't boast of my achievements or put my hand up to be the next governor, but God gave us different talents to do our best. Let time calculate..........

ENGAWAN - Please go back to your leaders, tell them that, this is a very good site for debate and as INTELLECTUALS, frankly we are willing to discuss matters. Or this is a site where he/she can correct themselves. Don't we have the right to critise leaders !!.

ENGAWAN's reponse to Enga Kaimbi LEnge Tenge's analysis is really shallow and bias indeed. Kind of a shallow thinker I guess! IF your mother-fucking brain is clocking at the right circumfrence like the latter, why should you question an other person's (critics') leadership capability when it is not the topic of discussion. You might have the some good points but the way you publish your poor understanding of the topic and english is no good man! well, I'm not saying i wrote the oxford grammer structure dictionary!, eh eh !SO better lets not discriminate each other but lets be critics of the discusion point raised by another fellow critic! Maski lo kisim tingting na pasin blo ples kam lo hia!

Lets be frank and critical!
