Good suggestion and I agree with 61 to have it in Enga but need to establish the good time to do this. Firstly, regional seat candidates to have it in Wabag town and electrorate candidates in their resepective main centres.
Unless such a public debate will get some intending candidates to compromise or support candidates with more promising policies, the public debate can not be held during the campaign period.

Brilliant idea to assist with the early eimination process but how much would ordinary Engan's appreciate a quality debate?

Support, having it in POM because it is a fact that any messages in POM get relayed to Enga faster than to other parts of POM. See no reason why they shoud have yet another one in Enga during their campaign trail as well.

Such debates shoud be encouraged by our students studying in POM where our working Engan elites and students at the highest institution can have a say or contribute in discussions.

Thanks Brilliant Idea,
Public debate is very necessary.I support this whole heartedly. The elite Engan community in POM and overseas will screen those who have the qualities and the credentials to be leaders at the national level. There are lots of brainless dodos and yoyos going into this election with conman instincts and qualities. The elites population can grab this opportunity to fire some challenging and probing questions. I think Engans,if I may boast are amonst some of the fastest changing and adapting natives in PNG who have alot of situational and technological awareness and ability to adopt and change to a changing environment.
