The Co-op....
It's a Turkey, chicken and swine wormer. Producers swears by it and it was recommended to them by Texas A&M. I use Zimectrin on the horses. It a paste which you most likely already know. As a topical, I use Wipe fly repellant. Been using both of those for years and I feed a pellet feed with a dressing of All in One feed. NO worms here!!! Knock on wood..... I used to feed my horses a sweet feed but it attacts flies so bad. Definately pellet to keep the fly problem down. They also get that feed through fly control pellet every day with their feed.(Once a day dressing) Kills the larvi and the eggs inside and out and the flies won't land on the poop.. Never had a problem with it. I havne't tried the DE. I hear it's good though. I may try it next season when I start worming again but I don't want to change them over this late in the season. I was told that changing Wormers or feed abruptly can cause problems. A&M told or advised me to finish the season out with what I'm using then change them over if I want at the beginning of fly season next year. Sounded like good sound advise to me! LOL What do you think?
