Hi,

They are penned up during the day and if we're home in the evening which is most of the time, they get let out to free range from 5-8pm with everyone else. By penned up, I mean they have a coop 8'x12' and a fenced in yard of about 100 feet fencing. The sparring I saw was in the evening during access to the world for free ranging. The blue slate, Blue's Clues, that seems to be the dominate one. I think I have 2 or 3 females in a group of 6 turkeys. I don't have their wings clipped so if they wanted to, they could fly out, which they sometimes do before 5pm.

I hope you find more info on turkeys and their lifestyle on the web. I haven't found much yet.
