It seems to take forever....it's been weeks...but I finaly saw a new number on the scale...141. So now I am down 72 lbs. The really amazing thing is that my clothes fit so much differently...I was very surprised. I actually fit into my favorite old faded jeans that are a size 9!! (the tight fitted old size 12's are still too tight, though) Still...I was higher than a kite! I haven't worn these jeans in like 8 years, maybe 9.

I did start doing a lot of isometric excericises as well as some simple ballet 'barre' type of stuff and stretches over the past few weeks. The ballet moves and plies really help my hips, thighs and butt...so I am hoping to see some of the lumpy-bumpies smooth out a bit. The trick is to hold everything really tight while you do them. You keep your but tucked under you and your tummy pulled in, and you work on really contracting and extending all the muscles in every move...making the most out of each one. I can still hear one of my old ballet instructors saying, "SQUEEZE!" lol. Even when just standing still the butt had to be squeezed tight and the tummy pulled in...nothing was limp and loose from the armpits on down....but your neck was all relaxed. yeah, this stuff really works...even if you are just standing in line at the checkout.

well, progress is still progress even though it is slower than the dickins!!

hugs,
Dreemy
