I was fully prepared for the scale to bounce back up today as it frequently does after I first hit a lower number for the first time....but it was still right there at 133. I was very relieved and even surprised.

I am off to the store to stock up on all sorts of healthy fare. One of my fave things is red chard. Even my daughter likes how I fix it. 4 cups of raw red chard is equivalent to one serving of most other veggies, but it cooks down to a reasonable size. I cut it up and lightly steam it till the stalks are just tender and then drain it thoroughly. Then I spray it with butter spray and drizzle cider vinegar and sprinkle it with splenda!! My other fave lately is baby stuffer portabella mushrooms. I line a little baking pan with foil, spray with olive oil cooking spray, spray both sides of each mushroom with the olive oil spray and sprinkle pepper and garlic powder on each side. then I cook them stem-side down till they are tender in the oven at 350. They are so yummy, I made them at both Thanksgiving and x-mas. They are like 20 calories a piece!

Gotta have something munchie?? Have you tried the new orville redenbacher or Smart pop 94% fat free microwave popcorn? They come in both butter or kettle corn flavors and are only 100 calories for 4 cups! Can't handle the salt? then try taking hot air popped corn and spritzing it with non-stick butter flavor spray!

Have a great day everyone!

hugs,
Dreemy
