and in boxes in the attick!! (I used to be a real clothes horse! and I took care of my clothing really well.) I gave away all my fat clothes. I have bought some new things...but haven't spent much time in store dressing rooms. I'm not ready for the 3-way mirrors!!!! I figure I have enough motivation and momentum right now...I don't want to sabotage that by a really hard look at myself, which is what those 3-way mirrors do! Meanwhile...I am doing a lot of time in front of full length mirrors at home when getting dressed and when trying on all sorts of my smaller size clothes that I haven't worn in years. (ok...the truth is, I walk around the house stark naked when the kids aren't home now!! Today I waltzed into our 2nd floor office buck-naked after my shower and asked my husband what we were going to do today...he had the day off...so I could decide what to wear!) But my favorite of all is the pretty underwear! For so many years it was huge panties and big ugly bras. Then it was old worn out undies and stretched out bras because I couldn't bear to shop for new ones!! How did my wonderful husband put up with it?! I have a lot of stuff in great shape from my thin years...but I have recently been frequenting Victoia's Secret and department store lingerie departments. Then I ordered some high heeled shoes and boots for the fall. Even my foot size went down. I recently bought a fake sherling jacket for winter. It is a size small and I can wear it now. This stuff is all very very very fun.

But you are right, Moon...the jeans thing is definitely a very significant gauge. I have such a huge box of old jeans...some that were like my real favorites....it is hard to think about buying any in a larger size. But perhaps...maybe one pair! LOL!

starting to remember the "clothes horse" me instead of just the "horse" part of me!!
