Sorry I've been absent for a while. Moon, I wish I could give you a great big ((((HUG))))) You're doing soooo good!!

I'm feeling pretty good about myself right now. A friend and I went in together and bought a piece of exercise apparatus!! ((I've had it the whole time though)). It's the BodyFlex Plus system seen on TV. Now, I know pretty much what I can and cannot eat from years of dieting so I have that basic knowledge. Just need to actually apply the knowledge. But my major problem was the exercise. I'm not financially able to join a health club or gym or even take a class in anything right now. And jumping up and down doing arobic exercises actually hurt my knees and ankles. Too many years of pounding. So my friend and I bought this system together to see what its all about. You're supposed to be guaranteed to lose 4 - 14 inches in the first 7 days by doing these exercises with this gym bar while SITTING DOWN! I lost 8 INCHES in the first week!!! I must have measured myself 500 times! It involves arobic breathing exercises to increase the amount of oxygen in your system with simple stretching exercises and the gym bar. In the second week I lost 3 more inches. I'm starting the 3rd week today.

The measurement areas are your upper arms, upper abs, waist, lower abs, hips and thighs. I haven't been weighing myself but I can definitely feel a difference in clothes. AND...((giggling)) my boobs are firmer!! Who'd have thunk! I too have increased my water to over 8 glasses a day and have cut down on red meat. I'm not a fish person at ALL (if it swam, I ain't eating it!) so I'm having a lot of chicken dishes and soups. Soups really work for me because I'm filled up for a longer time it seems. Anyway, just updating you on my progress.
