It seems to be the old cliche of so many day into the 'woods'....so many days out. If I stray for 1 night, then I have one next day of those OEB's....2 days = 2 days of OEB's, etc. I am now comp[letely clear of the OEB's and feeling great again...no headache, no icky feeling or logeyness. Also, I didn't wake up hungry.

Now, here is something that works for me pretty much 99+3/4% of the time...and that is my weighing myself every single day. Now, I am further compulsive in that I have to try to go to the bathroom before weigh-in, not have eaten or drunk anything, and be stark naked. What this does for me (aside from keeping me honest and informed) is that it means there are days that I am up for hours before I can get to weigh myself. Now, since I won't eat or drink anything till I have done this, that is typically at least an hour or 2 that I am not eating. Then it gets even better, because I was reading about how nutrients are not absorbed if you drink while you have your meal. I have an absorbtion problem anyway for certain nutrients, so...I try to drink over a quart of water or more before breakfast. I learned the hard way that you can't drink a lot of water all at once. So I have to take my time at it....then fix breakfast...then eat. Combine the weigh-in process with the water drinking thing and that can be up to 3 hours.

I have made a ritual out of all sorts of things...the food prep thing, the showering + dressing thing...these things can take time, sure, but I have gotten them down to a science of sorts...the main thing being that it is time I am not eating. Oh yes, and I highly recommend firming creams. You can get a generic brand and they have the same ingredients and they can help tighten your skin. Anyways...slathering the stuff over your entire body makes you really really body-aware. If you are fixing thinngs like salads and other light veggies you can even much during food prep without guilt. cool.

Try not to think of meal times at 'set'. Eat when you are hungry and it works for you. If the fami is sitting down to supper and you still have half your lunch saved, then eat that, or save it for the next day. But do cut off eating after supper...it really really works to drop weight. Try using crest white strips after supper during temptation times!!
