As I am new to the world of fan fic i'm not sure where you can post your stuff. I recommend going back through the archives here and finding other sites that people have recommended. Then that may give you an idea of where to post your stuff.

If you're looking to post your story, some of them should be appropriate. The automated Buffy Fiction Archive, for instance, is a really useful site that takes slash and het: http://archive.shriftweb.org/

Mailing lists are also good. You don't say what pairing the story is, so just search at http://groups.yahoo.com/ for lists that would accept it.
