Welcome home for the first time. Thanks to the amazing and wonderful JuniorK (take a bow, dear) We now have a message board dedicated to the fanfic club. This is the first meeting ground for the Fanfic Club. All members are listed below. With all due respect if your name is not there you cannot post here. For the time being until we get our legs under what we are doing lets close ranks and hammer out the rules together

Rules so far:

1. No rules on lauguage. Use common adult sense please.

2. No rules on caops but once again use common sense. Lets not go nuts, lol.

3. NO FIGHTING!!!!!!!

4. Keep the sex stuff under control. Have fun, but lets not go overboard. Be naughty though if the board gets boring:)

5. I'm big on this one statement. USE COMMON SENSE!!! If you want to be treated with respect, treat others that way. If you have a problem with someone call them out by name and fix it. None of that hidden crap. Be an adult. If you can diss someone, you better be man or woman enough for a reply.

6. I welcome all fanfic links and fanfic website links. That's why we're here, guys and sexy gals.

7. This is a simple one. You have to be honest in your reviews of a story. It doesn't do a writer good to tell him or her it's great when it's not. But at the same time rememebr there's a real person who wrote it. Who loves to write and wants to write more. Try to be honest, but supportive.

8. Shipper Wars don't exist. They never have and never will, Fanatical shipping to the point of not being respectful of other peoples ships or opinions cause problems. Lets agree to diagree on some things and keep the board harmony. Once again, I expect you all to act like adults

9. Have a good time. Give suggestions. This is the infant stage of the group and I'm working out some details.

10. Ozmandayus and Junior K are the moderatores here. I'd like to ask Lucinda and Emcee if theyt would like to becoem moderators as well. Let me know ladies:)

11. That's all for now. Post, laugh, joke, get to know one another, give suggestions, pair off, let me know what you think, curse a bit, flirt, and act like an adult:) That's all for now.

Over the next few days I think everyone involved should start bookmarking their favorite fics. Make sure you choose the best written ones that you feel resperesnt your ship. Each group will decide on one fic to represent them in the club for that month. WE WILL BE READING HERE PEOPLE! THIS ISN'T JUST A CLUB TO PROMOTE SHIPS!!

Seriously though, gather you A+ best fics. Tuesday afternoon the club will close and we will lock down our members for the first month. Then we will pair off into our groups and begin confering on what type of fic should be the first nominated. Smut/Drama/Angst/Humor/Romance, it can be any genre you want. I know it won't be easy to come to a choice when thier are so many good fics for every couple. I'm open to all suggestion concerning the voting in each group.

Next, the "other" category will include ANYTHING OTHER THAN B/S, B/A, B/X, B/G, W/X, and slash. I think that's pretty simple.

Because of how much slash is out there now I'm thinking of creating Slash Male and Slash Female groups. Thoughts?

As it stands now we have 7 groups. I will allow each person to choose one of the six groups fics and not have to read that one. Does anyone feel the need to push that to two fics out of the six? And how about if you dodge a group one month you have can't do it the next month? We're still in the beginning stages here and all suggestions are helpful.

Here are the rules so far:

1. I submit that we will have the following catagories. B/S, B/X, B/A, B/G, W/X, Other (meaning a group of non-shippers who recommend their favorite fics), and slash. Out of the seven catergories each member must read six fics. You can choose the one you wish to skip

2. Once we have everyone signed in we will pair off into ships and using chats and emails, each ship will agree upon the recommendation of one fic for everyone in the club to read. Meaning each ship will agree on their fic for that month. I would
hope to get at least 4 people from each ship and four slash writers/readers.

3. This is a once a month thing so that we all have time to finish reading our fics.

4. All fics must be no longer than 200 pages and can be any rating, any genre. If NC-17 fics are not your cup of tea a secondary recommendation from that category can be red. All secondary recommendations can carry a rating no higher than R.

Each ship within the Fanfic club must agree on what fic they would like the other ships to read that deals with their ship. Talk it over in chats. email or however you'd like. But agree upon something good. Agree upon a story you would like people who are not fans of your ship to read. Choose an author you feel truly has the talent to win over even the most critical of reviewers.

5.. This is the most important rule. Each month every member of the club must read and review the agreed upon B/X, B/S, B/A, B/G, W/X and Slash fics. This clubs intent is to celebrate the writing, and give each of us a glimpse at how the other side seesthings. I'm willing to read any B/S story that the B/S'rs in the club feel should be read. And I'm willing to do this every month the club is around.

Now that the sex with Oz is out of the way. What exactly is this pairing off you speak of? And I am so paired off with Peaches it's almost obscene!!

And Oz, you have Peaches listed twice under B/Sers. FYI.
