I second the suggestion for something by Nauit Bitz. I was going to recommend "In Heat", but if you want shorter, then maybe something like "Peaches..."

As for the sheep herding - happy to volunteer for this month, if no one wants to do it. What I was thinking is that we could look at drawing up a roster, so that herding is shared, and that no one person gets stuck with admin. Any thoughts?

Let's wait until Tuesday or Wednesday of next week when Oz closes the club to further members and then we can have you be in charge of the herding this month and the go in alphabetical order after. Sound fair?

Also, any NautiBitz fic is okay by me, I don't think she has any over 200 pages, so they'll all work. However, there are some underage club members so we really need to pick something not NC17 for the youngsters so we can at least say we tried not to corrupt the minors. Like I said, I don't read anything but NC17, so we need some more PG suggestions for fic. We one smutty, one not so smutty.

Ok - fine with me. I'll wait until everyone is in, and then organise how we go about it.

I have the same problem as you, in that I read mostly NC-17, so I'll troll through my fav authors and see if I can find something to recommend that is PG or R rated.

and thanks for volunteering to be first!

I also agree with Jane about waiting till membership is finalized and using alphabetical order. And there is also so much B/S fanfic, I think it would not be difficult to come up with 2 per month, with one always being PG-13 / R. Good thinking about our underage members, Jane.

I will also volunteer to make sure at least 1 of my monthly recommendations is in this rating.
