Group mourns missing woman

VIGIL IN LOS GATOS MARKS ANNIVERSARY

Dozens of friends, family members and people who never even knew Jeanine Sanchez Harms gathered for a tearful candlelight vigil at dusk Saturday to mark the one-year anniversary of the 42-year-old Los Gatos woman's disappearance.

The event on the lawn at Los Gatos' civic center was a remembrance of the loving daughter and loyal friend who vanished without a trace a year ago on July 27 after going home from a Campbell bar with a man she had met that evening.Candles were lighted, one person to the next, in support -- maybe remembrance -- of the gregarious, dark-haired woman who had loved to go to clubs and dinner parties and had a large circle of friends.

Missing Since July 27th, 2001

Jeanine was last seen at the Pruneyard Shopping Center in Campbell wearing a knee length, short sleeve, light blue, floral pattern dress, and black strap style high heeled sandals. She was driving a black 2000 Ford Mustang with silver race stripes. At around 10:00 PM she was seen leaving with Maurice Xavier Nasmeh driving a green 1993 Jeep Cherokee.

She is 42 years old, has fair skin, is 5'5, 110 lbs, and slender. Her hair is brown with highlights and her eyes are also brown.
