Shakira's eyes widened and she shook her head. "That's awful. I will never understand why some people hate so deeply that which they simply do not understnd."

"Why, I love meeting new people and creatures. Learning about other life styles and other beliefs. That is what makes the world such a wonderfully unique place."

She fanned him lightly with her wings and smiled. "Could you just imagine what life would be like if we were all so boringly alike? Why, you would have no reason to talk to other people cause they be just like you are."

She took flight again as Michael began heading back to the mountains with the supplies. She winged along, strangly quiet for her, before finally speaking again. "Can I help you? I could take the supplies to the other group. They've met me. They might not care for me, but they are not afraid of me either. I could drop the stuff off with them. That is if you want me to."
