Shakira leaned further forward trying to hear what the others were saying to one anouther. She was older than them by a good many human years, but then Elves aged differently, and so she was really right around their age.

She could feel her excitment growing larger still. She wanted to meet them. She wanted to talk with them. She wanted to make friends with them. A deep sigh filled her. Her kind was rather shy and secretive. And there was an unspoken law against revealing oneself to humans. But then, these weren't humans. These were Cheysuli. And Chesuli were magical just like she was. Maybe...

She moved then. Her wings, which were twice as large as she was when fully extended, expanded to their full length. And she dropped gracefully to the ground. She hoped Wes would understand. She hoped these three would as well.

"Hello," she said simply in her high chirping voice. "I'm Shakira. Who are you?"
