Alexis looked at the other girl. Her crystal gaze slightly cool. She gently lfted Jeff's head and laid it in her lap so that she could try and smooth some of the worry from Jeff's tortured brow.

Slowly she turned her gaze to Gwen. ::You know you have my help. I will do anything you ask of me. I only ask that you find me sometime to run with Monet. I am but half myself when kept from him for too long.::

She turn her eyes up to Angie suddenly and smiled. "I will join you in helping Jeff. Do you want to meet my lir Monet? He is a clever and funny guy!! Well, he's a large tiger, but he is really just a big clown!"

::Careful there liren. I am but anouther peice of you.:: came the golden tone of the tiger.

::Gwen!:: Came Rio's gentle tone. ::GAbriel and I are at your service. We will follow at a distance to keep you, your boy, and the...:: she laughed for all to hear. ::Your helpless females all safe.::

Gabriel, though distant, laughed. ::Yes, we are at your service. Although...::

Rio sighed deeply, ::Later Gabriel. We'll figure out what to do about it in a bit. Not now. Perhaps you could speak to the Jellicles about it. They could help.::

Gabriel looked to Nashota and Kalea. His yellow eyes sad but firm. ::Yes, I will speak to the Jellicles about it. Tell Gwen to keep the boy and two girls safe. There is a strom coming again. So get them to the safty of a cave and come back to the camp.::

Rio nodded. ::Be gentle with my lir.:: She whispered to the Jellicles. ::He is a wounded sould who does not open easily.::

Gabriel smiled to the Jellicles. "You heard everything the young Gwen said? We shall follow them on their journany so that they remain safe. We will remain close enough that Jeff knows he is being followed back far enough back to keep him at ease."

"Rio and I will hunt and leave food for them nightly. During the day they shall have to forage for themselves."

"Now," he began seriously. "I have a bit of a problem that I had not expected to have to explain to anyone." He smiled charmingly at Kalea and Nashota. "I didn't actully think that I would be joining a little make-shift clan and so I am caught unprepaired."
