He looked to her in concern as she spoke. ::Do not fear for your boy. All will be made right soon, and you will be whole.:: HE lifted his nose to the sky and let out a long purr. ::Believe me Gwen, there is not feeling in this world like that of being whole. Complete!!::

Suddenly she went down. Her body limp in the wet grass. ::Gwen?:: He nudged her with his nose and gently licked at her face and neck. ::Gwen, you must not fail. Not yet. We are far from safe.::

His ears pricked in all directions as he listened for signs of danger. He would not fail her or her boy. For the sake of a new world he would not fail.

Careful not to hurt her worse he laid down at her side. His tongue gently cleaning her wounds as he cept a watchful eye out for anything that could pose a danger to himself or his companions.

::Alexis... Gwen is badly hurt. She and I are going to remain where we are for a bit.:: He moved his gentle touch to a different wound. ::Continue as you are. Get the boy to the warrior. We will be along when she is able to walk again.::

He looked out over the distance for a moment before he returned to his gental care. ::And Alex... Stay safe.::
