Alexis held firmly to Jeff's neck. A tiny smile pasted to her lips. Here was a cute boy and he didn't know enough about their kind to know that she was an oddity. He appeared to actully like her, and the thought pleased her greatly.

A brief message came from Monet that sent shivers down her spine. Gwen was hurt? She looked to Jeff to see if he sensed it. Felt it as she would feel it were Monet badly hurt.

"Jeff?" she asked in her clear musical voice. "Where were you raised? Who are you parents? Do you have siblings? Pets?"

She grinned playfully, "Who are you my hero? What brought you to my aid?"
