The large male wolf stopped dead within his tracks. His yellow eyes gleamed suddenly with a joy and fear like he had never known. He dared not hope as he turned and darted suddenly back toward the mountains.

::Lir?:: Rio ran quickly after him. ::Lir? Do you not wish to speak with Jeff?::

Again the male stopped. His heart thudded heavily against his ribs as he turned to look back to the scene before him. Jeff had himself wrapped around his beautiful Gwen. Any hint of fear had been replaced by the sheer joy of the lir link open and alive once more.

::We shall be awaiting your arrival here dear rujha. There are things I must do before I can greet you proper and one of them is my little rujho.::

As a wolf he padded ever closer to the running Gwen and her burden, Jeff. To all the world it would have been a strange sight, but to Alexis it brought hope and happiness.

::Welcome Gabriel. Have you heard? Your rujha is free and has freed my lir as well.:: She hugged closer to Negasi and squealed suddenly like a child. "Jeff!!" Her eyes, suddenly bright and happy, gleamed at the boy, "Jeff!! Would you like to meet your oldest brother? Well again anyway?"

Rio let out a happy yip as she and Gabriel joined the others. Negasi and Gwen had stopped running and were just now watching as the male wolf stood before Jeff. His head cocked slowly to one side much like a dog.

Then he melted into the form of a man and looked proudly down at his brother. (Though, true be told, Jeff was now nearly as tall as Gabe himself.) "Rujho, it has never matter to me what name you have called me. Not when you were a child and not now. I hope in time you come to see that all that has mattered to me is our family."
