Tea shook her head sadly at his words but continued "You need to hear this Blair, I guess maybe the plan has changed but you still need to know what Todd was planning, about what kind of man he really is."

Todd growled "Tea stop this you're the crazy one."

Blair took Vicki's hand off Todd's arm and forced him to turn completely toward her, Blair's voice was low but strong "No, I want to here what THAT WOMAN has to say."

"It's all lies Blair, I would never steal your children."

Blair raised one finely arched eyebrow "Really."

Todd turned a dull red "Not again anyway"

Blair turned back to Tea "Go on. Everyone's hanging on your every word."

Blair could feel Todd barely containing himself next to her he was working toward an explosion, the fist fight between Asa and Max had been broken up by Bo and a few others and now everyone's attention was focused on the center ring featuring the Todd, Blair and Tea show. "Blair, I know you might not believe me but don't even listen to her..."

Blair's voice was dangerously soft and silky "No let her talk I think we all need to hear what Te-aaaa needs to say."

"Stop this let's go somewhere private where you three can work this out," exclaimed Vicki. It was true that she had told Tea that she would help her but only by talking to her brother not by supporting her in some wild scheme.

"Butt out Vicki, let her say what she has to say." Blair's eyes glittered like a cobra ready to strike when the moment came.

Tea nodded "Thank you Blair I am so sorry I don't know what came over me I just wanted a child so badly that I would have been willing to do anything to have one that's actually what happened last time."

Todd groaned, this bitch was going to destroy him. If she couldn't do it with a lie then she was going to be really underhanded and use the truth.

Blair didn't notice he soul mates groan, she laughed at her one time nemesis "I believe you were willing to steal my child and my life while I was a vegetable.

Tea defended herself hotly "That's not what happened Todd said you were never going to wake up. He asked me to help him keep his child."

Todd couldn't contain himself any longer maybe it wouldn't be so bad coming from him "I paid her."

Blair's composure shattered at those words as she slowly turned her cobra eyes toward him. "What did you just say?"

The hardest thing he had ever done in his life Todd kept eye contact with the only woman he had ever truly loved. "I paid her, oh God Blair, I paid her to marry me, to help me keep Starr."

"How much"

"Blair come on why is that impor..."

Her voice was deadly "How much?"

"Five million dollars"

Blair struck out "You paid your lawyer five million dollars to keep my little girl away from me."

"Dorian was going to keep her away from me."

"So you decided to keep her away from me incase you haven't noticed I'm not Dorian."

Todd reached his hard toward her to touch her face. Blair pulled back as if burned "I panicked Blair."

"You once told me that when I panic people get hurt. Hell you told me that's how come Tea does Lainview over there got tossed out a window."
Blair turned toward Tea "I should shoved you in the pool and held you under." Blair smiled chilling both Todd and Tea "Live and learn." She looked toward the DJ and held up one slim finger. He acknowledged her with a smart salute.

Blair studied Tea with a sneer of contempt "You are a whore and a baby stealer. I knew you were coming tonight, you see Te-aaaa one thing foster care taught me always be aware of what's happening around you. I want everyone in this room to know why you really went out a window. I actually hoped you'd be here tonight. I got this from a reporter who used to work at the Sun, he thought that maybe I could still use it someday"

Over the loud speaker came a sound of background conversation and then Tea's voice

"Oh Blair hello I just called the sitter to see how my daughter is."

After a moment Blair's voice responded "I didn't know you had any children"

"I was talking about my daughter Starr."

"You don't have a daughter Starr, she's my baby not your's and you and that monster won't be able to keep her away from me forever."

"Just till she's eighteen Blair but by then I doubt she'll want to see some woman who's only attachment to her is a birth canal."

"Just wait you and that psycho I'll get my daughter back."

Tea could be heard laughing before she proceeded in the tones of someone entertaining a boring guest at a cocktail party. "The baby did the cutest thing tonight. We were in my room and she was sitting on my bed watching me get dressed and she kept reaching out her soft little hands and then when I turned to look in the mirror she said mama." There was a pause "You'll never see her alone ever again Blair I'm her mother now I'm Todd's wife You know what...you would have done us a big favor if you had just died along with that little Irish bastard you los..."

There were a lot of overlapping sounds at once Blair crying out a sound of breaking glass a scream and then softly a man saying "Oh my god" then a click as the tape was turned off."

Tea's mouth hung open as nearly everyone in the ballroom stared at her in disgust even Vicki who had been her biggest champion was wide eyed in horror. "I allowed you into my home my family. Jessica and I visited you in the hospital and turned ourselves against Blair because we thought she really was a danger to Starr but if you had said that about any of my children..."

Tea started in a stream of panicked excuses "It wasn't how it sounded Todd told me to make a scene..."

Todd roared at her "No you told me you were going to stage an argument I never expected something like that hell I even thought Blair really went crazy like all the other Cramer's."

Blair ignored him and focused her full attention on Tea she spoke one word at a time "Get out of my town."

Tea tried to salvage any remaining pride she may have had "Are you threatening me."

Blair laughed in that throaty way of hers
"Tea, if anything that tape should have reminded you that I don't bother with threats"

Tea looked at Todd "Please you have to see I did everything for you, I know you feel the same you have to see Blair never really.."She reached to touch him

Blair caught her hand in a death grip "He may be a monster and a psycho but he is my monster psycho and Starr is our daughter and you...you are just a bitch whore substitute nanny who Todd used then threw out like the trash you are."

Tea's eye's blazed in fury "You two really deserve each other I don't understand how a little girl as sweet as Starr has you two for parents.

Max's voice rang out from the back of the ballroom as he leaned on a pillar "Been a while since you've seen Starr huh."

Around the room there were small hiccups of laughter from people familiar with the Manning's only child.

Tea with her head held high turned on heel and began to walk from the room her long gown's train trailing behind her
Blair glanced at it and smiled "Is it really true that Todd threw you out after seeing you buck naked one night."

Tea turned back "That's none of your business" she turned with a flounce and began to walk away Blair bent down and caught the train of Tea's dress and jerked it hard causing Tea to pitch forward. There was a huge ripping noise as the delicate dress all but completely tore off Tea's body.

Tea screamed in rage and snatched the remains of the dress from Blair's hand she covered herself and looked toward Bo

"Bo I want her arrested for assault."

Renee Buchanan called out "That's fine and while you're at it Bo I want Tea removed from my hotel for indecent exposure."

Again laughter rang out. Tea screamed "To hell with all of you " and ran from the ballroom.

The DJ begin to play music again and couples talked excitedly as they began to pair off to dance.

Vicki, Ben, Todd, and Blair stood in a small group.

Vicki shook her head "Next year I am asking for write in donations."

Blair shrugged "I don't know Vicki I enjoyed myself you just have to watch the RSVP's."

Todd caught Blair's elbow "We need to go talk."

"We don't Todd"

Todd gripped her elbow even tighter as though he was afraid she would run away from him. "Even if it doesn't matter right now you need to know I love you I always have I always will."

Blair studied him for a moment letting him sweat then she turned to Vicki "How does next Friday look for you I'll want to start the ceremony around 5 oh and..."

But that was as far as she got Todd pulled her into his arms and kissed her his tongue exploring her already familiar yet constantly mysterious mouth He whispered against her lips when he paused for a moment "I love you babe"

Blair reached up and tucked a strand of hair behind his ear "I love you too.' She pressed her lips to hers again."

Max Holden watched his soon to be ex wife kissing the monster of Lainview and yelled "Oh for God sake get a room."

Todd looked up and caught Max's eye then smirked he leaned down and whispered to Blair who laughed softly and took his hand as they started to the reception desk."

Max gashed his teeth watching them take his advice then he noticed Hank and Bo coming toward him and decided that a hasty retreat was a good idea and began to limp toward the French doors.

Blair and Todd rode the elevator up to the twelfth floor in silence. Not a tense silence but the quiet contentment of two people who don't have to speak to express their feelings.

The doors opened and together they walk to their assigned room. Todd fitted the key into the doorknob and pushed it open he then turned to Blair and swung her into his arms.

He carried her as she laughed and protested "Todd save it for next week."

He put her down. Blair stepped toward the bedside lamp to light it

"No"

Blair turned to him "Why not"

She could see his smile in the moonlight "You always told me how much you loved make believe and fairy tales well tonight I want to make believe that I am meeting my wife in a hotel room in London and tomorrow we're going to buy the crown jewels but tonight I am going to make love to my wife."

Blair looked at him and took a step forward "Weren't you the one who told me you can never go back"

Todd turned her around gently and lifted her hair so he could kiss the back of her throat "Maybe I found that time machine I was talking about." He unzipped her dress and pulled it down her body taking her underwear with it.

Blair turned to face him "But when it's over the past is still there."

Todd cupped her chin gently "Then we have to keep making a future together so the past can never catch up."
