With all that ship building in your heritage you should be handy with a backsaw. I lack the patience to turn out anything worthwhile. Thats why I would rather paint the four walls and ceiling than do a single window trim. Electrical...I stay away from except for changing a light switch or hanging a fixture. Plumbing is my thing, I hate it...I'm just good at it. Always wanted to be a cabinet maker/carpenter tho.
