I don't remember his days at WMCA, but I sure do remember the heyday of WNEW. He gave a lot of exposure to a lot of very talented people.

Geez, I hadn't realized he was around for so long. But it makes a lot of sense, considering that he sure knew his way around radio by the time I was listening to him.

I always feel sad, and a little vulnerable, when I hear that an icon from my generation has passed on.
